Argan Oil

Argan oil, or (Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil), comes from the kernels that grow on the argan tree native to Morocco.  It has a slightly nutty flavor and is used in culinary applications but it’s probably most famous as hair oil. The majority of the fat content of argan oil comes from oleic (~40%) and linoleic (~30%) acid, it’s also a rich source of vitamin E which is essential for healthy skin and hair. Of course, the oil also contains antioxidants which makes argan oil an excellent candidate for hair and skin remedies. Omega 3 fatty acids found in argan oil are touted to boost collagen production.

While some go as far as to claim it helps repair split ends on hair, one can be confident that it’s loaded with natural goodness to promote excellent hair and skin health.
